To my ‘70’s art class, Mid-Century Modern wasn’t mid-century cool, yet. At the time, it was pretty much Grandma’s stuff; blue on blue vases and Bitossi cats. However, my prof was deeply grounded, and kind of a master at 50’s pottery. He introduced me to the ceramic works of Aldo Londi, and I got hooked on stamping clay for textures and design. Some 40 years later, I thought it would be cool to make a Bitossi inspired pot, and made this bowl.

I make my pots to be different from each other. Each one has its own personality. I like similar repetition, but not crazy about duplicates. Hopefully, you will never find two of my pots that are the same.

With that said, a few pictures do not do a good job of helping you see the pots. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for additional views. I will be happy to send you additional shots to assist in your selection. Let me know if there is a specific shade or design that catches your eye.
