Unsupervised Thinking
The beauty of being an artist, is the ability to make stuff when you don’t have words for the things that are in your head.
That is the case for most of the pots in this collection. These are all one-off pieces with a multitude of influences.
Some have great stories, some just happened late at night.
When the hall monitor in your head takes a nap.
This pot is a hand-built, slab pot made of high-fired, red stoneware. 5” dia x 6”.
I leave the clay exposed to accent the illustration, and try not to over glaze, offering the clay a louder voice to speak for itself.
