The beauty of being an artist, is the ability to make stuff when you don’t have words for the things that are in your head.
That is the case for most of the pots in this collection. These are all one-off pieces with a multitude of influences.
Some have great stories, some just happened late at night.
Things My Dog Chases in the Dark
This pot is a hand-built, slab pot made of high-fired, red stoneware. 5” dia x 5”.
I washed the background in a diluted shino solution to create a dark variant background, while using a full bodied glaze to give the design a voice to work with.
