I have a patch of Lamb’s Ear in my garden, and wanted a vase that reminded me of that soft green color.

This is a hand-formed vase made from a light brown stoneware. Iron particles in the clay burn through the glaze when fired at high temperatures creating a speckled effect. The vase is built with a slight conical slant to enhance stability.
Designs vary from pot to pot. I like to use found objects, such as old gears, dried oranges, and walnut shells, to stamp the clay surface during construction.
