Mountain Wedding: These blue with gold overlay vases were made as alter pieces for an outdoor wedding, needing to be big enough to hold a sizable bouquet and stable enough to hold their place on uneven lawn. The vase family included 4 smaller vases used on banquet tables. The glaze was developed to match the bride’s colors.
Gallery Wedding: I made 200 small, yellow vases as a part of an art installation to celebrate a wedding held in a small art gallery. Each vase was unique, while staying within a set rhythm and scheme for size and color.
Development of event pieces requires design development, production, firing and glazing, which could be completed by Dave Templin Pottery. Installation can be coordinated with certified installers. Project capability along with pricing and lead-time TBD, dependent upon the scope of the project.
