I traveled to Colorado and New Mexico recently, being inspired by the simplicity and beauty of nature. I mixed the white glaze to coat like heavy cream, syrup on pancakes, snow on adobe. Allowing the glaze to wrap itself around the pot, but not fully cover the bare clay.
This is a hand-formed vase made from a brown stoneware.
The vase is built with a slight conical slant to enhance stability.
